We have been supplying vegan cheese at Curd and Cure since 2019, but due to high demand began focusing and really honing in on our vegan cheese range in 2020.

Brands I am Nut ok, and Sheese launched with us in 2021, enabling us to offer our customers a much broader, premium vegan selection. Our bestsellers are I am Nut Ok’s Minerthreat Smoky Charcoal and their G.O.A.T Italian herbs. I am Nut Ok started as a passion project; they wanted to make vegan cheeses that didn’t compromise on flavour or texture and they don’t. More daring than dairy, their range use alternative visual and flavour combinations, and we are big fans.

We are a cheese specialist wholesaler and supply a vast range of dairy products, most of which are British, but we need to move with the times and keep on top of trends. Most eateries, restaurants and shops offer vegan products, but with a focus on quality; therefore, we have put a lot of time and effort into the best vegan cheeses available on the market. Vegan cheese is no longer an afterthought, it’s considered and there are some fantastic options available on the market.

Vegan cheese is very different from dairy; while regular cheese you may want to let breathe, vegan options must be kept wrapped up and refrigerated. I wouldn’t leave a soft vegan cheese out for long periods, as it will dry out and discolour – particularly nut-based cheeses.
